The impact of The NENN Foundation is an entirely new approach to animal healthcare. It is a way of life and an infrastructure that can stretch its generosity and influence across the nation. Additionally, with the added support and focus on large animal veterinary experts, there will be a cultural shift across the veterinary industry at large. The NENN Foundation will encourage new standards of veterinary work-life balance, changing the norms for compensation, incentivizing the specialty of large animals, and improving access to graduate studies. The work of The NENN Foundation will revolutionize the culture and standards of animal care in California and across the country while saving thousands of animals’ lives.

The NENN Foundation is seeking to raise $20 million in 2022 for land acquisition and to establish our flagship hospital in Ventura County. Specifically, the 30,000-square-foot hospital facilities will include:

• Three surgical suites and two standing surgery exam rooms

• One radiology center

• A pharmacy

• Education and conference center to be used as an education facility for seminars, classes, and events

• Medical, surgical, and rehabilitation barns

• Isolation barn for contagious animals

• Five pastures for on-site teaching animals

• 4,800 square-foot arena and 80-foot round pen

• 3,000 square-foot garages for ambulatory vehicles

• Storage and feed rooms (totaling 3,500 square feet)

• Housing and activity center for veterinary students, interns, and visiting doctors who are working on-site
